Career Guidance and Farewell Program 2023-2024

 

A program on Career Guidance and Farewell for the students of  TYBSc Mathematics was organized by the department on 1st  May  2024 at Conference Hall at 11:00am . This event was coordinated by Ms. Malika Mukdam.

Mrs.Shaheen Khan introduced our Vice principal  Prof .Moinuddin Failai, Head of the Department Dr. Amjad Shaikh Felicitated Prof. Moinuddin Falai, Prof. Moinuddin Falai Guided Students for their future endevours. Head of the Department Dr. Amjad Shaikh delivered a lecture on various opportunities of jobs, especially in Government sectors, Banking, Railway & Finance department. Around 14 students. Students showed their enthusiasm towards higher education and preparation of competitive examinations like U.P.S.C., M.P.S.C.,S.S.C. etc.

 

The topper students were felicitated. Students expressed their views and opinions about the department and subject. The program was summed up with vote of thanks by Ms. Malika Mukadam.

A study Tour to  Science Park, Chinchwad, Pune. A study tour organized by the department of mathematics was held on 19th December  2013 to  Science Park,Chinchwad, Pune. The team of around 30 students of T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three   staff members visited the place.They enjoyed  simulated night sky with various  planets , stars, phases of moon, circumpolar sky on poles and many more features and concepts of basic astronomy.  They also visited various sections of the parks such as Dino park,Fun science,Climate change, energy park & amazing  3D show.They purchased many scientific toys  like mathematics puzzle, balloon  car etc for children, which can create awareness about mathematics & science. The tour has been proved Knowledgeable and beneficial to all of them. A trip to Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai-January 2016

A study Tour  to  Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai. An Excursion Tour to visit Nehru Planetarium and Science park (Mumbai) was organized by the department on 16 January 2016 . The team of around 31 students of S.Y/T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three  staff members visited the place. The   visit inspired the students for higher studies. It was amazing experience for them  to learn about solar and Lunar eclipses, planets and stars.  They gain beautiful knowledge and  enjoyed  the tour. overall the tour was fruitful.  It has generated interest  among  them about the wonders of science and created awareness about the  various  applications of Mathematics in science and daily life.  A trip to Nehru Planetarium   Tour participants at Gateway of India

A visit to IUCAA on 28th February 2019 (National Science day)

  A visit to IUCAA on 28 th  February 2019 (National Science day)       Department Of Mathematics Organized  a visit to IUCAA on 28 th  February 2024 on the occasion of  National Science day.     13  students of  T.Y.B.Sc participated. They gained the knowledge about Galaxies, clusters and recent research in Astronomy and Astrophysics.  Mrs. Munzarin Sajjan and Ms. Namira Shaikh co-ordinated the event and guided the students.
