Career Guidance Program entitled "Career in IT after BSc (Mathematics)

 The Department of Mathematics in association with IQAC conducted a Career Guidance Program entitled "Career in IT after BSc (Mathematics) today 24th August 2024 at 11.30 am in Conference hall for FY/SY/TY/BSC/BSC(CS)/BA students. Under the guidance of our Principal, Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, and Vice Principal, Dr. Amjad Shaikh, who continuously drive us towards excellence, we have been able to organize such programs successfully. The program begins with few verses from holy Quran by Parvez Qureshi student of TYBSC Mathematics followed by felicitaion of resource person and welcome address by Dr. Amjad Shaikh Vice-Principal and Head, Dept. of Mathematics. Our prominent alumni Mr. Akib Shaikh, Mr. Shoaib Shaikh and Mr. Junaid Khan guided the students about future scope and opportunities.

Mr Junaid Khan focused on Data Analyst opportunities.

Mr. Akib Shaikh highlighted on Data engineering field. Mr. Shoaib Shaikh  guided the students on the most trending field of Data Scientist. They interacted with students and fruitful discussion was held between them.

Ms. Namira Shaikh proposed vote of thanks. The program was a resounding success, providing a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, guidance, and networking. Our  sincere thanks to all members of the mathematics dept for their support, A special mention to our students who actively took part in this program. This event was coordinated by Mrs. Munzarin Sajjan and Ms. Namira Shaikh.

A study Tour to  Science Park, Chinchwad, Pune. A study tour organized by the department of mathematics was held on 19th December  2013 to  Science Park,Chinchwad, Pune. The team of around 30 students of T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three   staff members visited the place.They enjoyed  simulated night sky with various  planets , stars, phases of moon, circumpolar sky on poles and many more features and concepts of basic astronomy.  They also visited various sections of the parks such as Dino park,Fun science,Climate change, energy park & amazing  3D show.They purchased many scientific toys  like mathematics puzzle, balloon  car etc for children, which can create awareness about mathematics & science. The tour has been proved Knowledgeable and beneficial to all of them. A trip to Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai-January 2016

A study Tour  to  Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai. An Excursion Tour to visit Nehru Planetarium and Science park (Mumbai) was organized by the department on 16 January 2016 . The team of around 31 students of S.Y/T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three  staff members visited the place. The   visit inspired the students for higher studies. It was amazing experience for them  to learn about solar and Lunar eclipses, planets and stars.  They gain beautiful knowledge and  enjoyed  the tour. overall the tour was fruitful.  It has generated interest  among  them about the wonders of science and created awareness about the  various  applications of Mathematics in science and daily life.  A trip to Nehru Planetarium   Tour participants at Gateway of India

  A visit to IUCAA on 28 th  February 2019 (National Science day)       Department Of Mathematics Organized  a visit to IUCAA on 28 th  February 2024 on the occasion of  National Science day.     13  students of  T.Y.B.Sc participated. They gained the knowledge about Galaxies, clusters and recent research in Astronomy and Astrophysics.  Mrs. Munzarin Sajjan and Ms. Namira Shaikh co-ordinated the event and guided the students.
