 A research paper entitled "Analysis of Multi Term Fractional Differential Equations using Variational Iteration Method" was published by Dr. Amjad Shaikh (HOD),  Q1 JOURNAL with   IMPACT FACTOR 6.626           A mathematical model describing the HIV/AIDS transmission dynamics in the existence of an aware community using fractional differential operator having Mittag–Leffler kernel is presented and investigated in this paper. By using the fixed point theorem, the existence and uniqueness conditions of the model are obtained. We have used a novel technique known as the iterative Laplace transform approach to obtain the approximate solution of the mathematical model of HIV/AIDS based on the Atagana-Baleanu operator.We investigate the necessary conditions for the disease control in order to determine the role of unaware infective in the spread of HIV/AIDS. A research paper entitled "Analysis of Multi Term Fractional Differential Equations using Variational Iteration Method" was published by Dr. Amjad Shaikh (HOD), in the Punjab University Journal of Mathematics (2022),54(1),15-31 In this paper, we have obtained an approximate solution of multi-term Caputo fractional differential equations (MFDEs) using the Variational iteration method (VIM). Further, we have obtained the convergence criteria and error approximation of VIM for solving generalized multi term fractional differential equations.   Pi   Day: 14 th March 2022   Under the able guidance of Honorable Principal, V. Principal and H. O. D., the Department celebrated “Pi-Day” on 14 th March 2022 at 11:00 am. On this occasion lectures by the Alumni were organized through zoom Platform. The program was started by recitation of Quran by Mr. Ejaz (TYBSc), followed by the aims and objectives explained by Mrs. Atiya Khan (H. O. D.). The First lecture, entitled “Introduction, History and application of ‘Pi’”, was delivered by Miss. Faiza Shaikh (Alumnus-2020-21). She presented the PPTs and explained the Mathematical significance of Pi in a very marvelous manner. Second lecture on the topic “Application of Mathematics in Technology, especially in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence” was delivered by Mr. Yunus Shaikh (Alumnus-2019-20).   Department of Mathematics has organized a    National level Quiz  shared through Google form    to commemorate the birth anniversary of Indian mathematics legend Mr. Srinivasa Ramanujan on the eve of National Mathematics Day on 22 nd  December 2021.    Students were asked to attempt the online questionnaire of. Auto generated certificate of participation were issued to those who secured at least 40% marks.  Total 354 students participated.  They explored their excellent.  Got  motivated to cultivate the interest in using technological facilities to enhance academic future.
