Inauguration of PC Math-Club 
on 22nd December 2017

Department of Mathematics has established “Math-Club” in June 2017 to promote mathematical importance & amusement nurturing excellence in mathematics. Members of the club are students from F.Y/S.Y/T.Y B.Sc. (Mathematics).On the eve of national mathematics day 22nd December 2017 department inaugurated Math-Club by Principal Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh and Vice Principal (Science) Mr. Iqbal.N.Shaikh.They guided and encouraged club members to enhance their skills through participating actively. Students displayed beautiful wall papers enlightening the contributions of various eminent Indian Mathematicians especially of Dr. Ramanujan. About 50 member-students were present.

A study Tour to  Science Park, Chinchwad, Pune. A study tour organized by the department of mathematics was held on 19th December  2013 to  Science Park,Chinchwad, Pune. A trip to Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai-January 2016

A study Tour  to  Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai. An Excursion Tour to visit Nehru Planetarium and Science park (Mumbai) was organized by the department on 16 January 2016 . The team of around 31 students of S.Y/T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three  staff members visited the place. The   visit inspired the students for higher studies. It was amazing experience for them  to learn about solar and Lunar eclipses, planets and stars.  They gain beautiful knowledge and  enjoyed  the tour. overall the tour was fruitful.  It has generated interest  among  them about the wonders of science and created awareness about the  various  applications of Mathematics in science and daily life.  A trip to Nehru Planetarium   Tour participants at Gateway of India

Intercollegiate Quiz Competition -2024

  Department of mathematics, statistics in association with IQAC  had organized Intercollegiate Quiz Competition on 14th March 2024. The Competition marked a celebration of intellectual mastery and mathematical excellence. The event brought together enthusiastic participants from various colleges, like Nowrosjee Wadia College, Fergusson College, SM Joshi College, MIT-ADT University creating an environment of healthy competition. Total 50 participants have participated in quiz competitions of which 21 participants from outside colleges. The competition kicked off with an energizing quiz, testing participants' mathematical sharpness and problem-solving skills.   The event provided a platform for students to showcase their academic talents, fostered a sense of community among participants, and promoted interdisciplinary collaboration.
