Exit Program on 25th March 2016 An Exit program for the students of T.Y.B.Sc. (Mathematics) was organized by the department on  25th March 2016 scheduled at 4:00 p.m . Dr. Gulab Pathan  delivered a lecture on various opportunities of jobs, The students were motivated for higher education and implementation of knowledge in practical life.  Around 69 students were participated. As a feedback student of T.Y.B.Sc. shown their enthusiasm towards higher education and preparation of competitive examinations like U.P.S.C., M.P.S.C.,S.S.C. ETC. The program was SUMMED UP with vote of thanks. and the students left the hall with Fragrance of Knowledge and Fun. Dr. Gulab Pathan delivering lecture  on job opportunities. Career Guidance Program on 25th March 2016 A program of Career guidance for the students of Mathematics was organized by the department on  25th March 2016 scheduled from 02:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m . Dr. Gulab Pathan delivered a lecture on various opportunities of jobs, specially in Government sectors, Banking, Railway & Finance department. The students were motivated for higher education and implementation of knowledge in practical life.  Around 69 students were participated. As a feedback student of T.Y.B.Sc. shown their enthusiasm towards higher education and preparation of competitive examinations like U.P.S.C., M.P.S.C.,S.S.C. ETC. Quiz and Puzzle competition  on 20th Feb.2016 A Quiz and Puzzle competition was organized by the department on  20th February 2016 scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m . The competition was held team wise.Each team consist of three participants one from each of F.Y./S.Y./T.Y.B.Sc.classes.Around 69 students were participated.The competition i nspired the student to learn about  Mathematics in science and daily life.  They gain beautiful knowledge and  enjoyed  the Competition. Overall it was fruitful. The team declared winner for Quiz was (i) Shaikh Sohel (F.Y.B.Sc.)  (ii)  Amani Chivilkar (S.Y.B.Sc.)  (iii) Saba Anjum (T.Y.B.Sc.)   and  for Puzzle the winner team was (i) Atiya Fatema & Ruhina (F.Y.B.Sc.)  (ii) Amarjeet & B. A study Tour  to  Nehru Planetarium and Science Park, Mumbai. An Excursion Tour to visit Nehru Planetarium and Science park (Mumbai) was organized by the department on 16 January 2016 . The team of around 31 students of S.Y/T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three  staff members visited the place. The   visit inspired the students for higher studies. It was amazing experience for them  to learn about solar and Lunar eclipses, planets and stars.  They gain beautiful knowledge and  enjoyed  the tour. overall the tour was fruitful.  It has generated interest  among  them about the wonders of science and created awareness about the  various  applications of Mathematics in science and daily life.  A trip to Nehru Planetarium   Tour participants at Gateway of India

A study Tour  to  Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. An Excursion Tour to visit TIFR (Mumbai) was organized by the department on 13th Feb 2015 . The team of around 33 students of S.Y/T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three  staff members visited the place.A lecture by renowned mathematician Dr. Ravi Rao was delivered on the topic "Maths is behind the scene". His ideas set a great impact on every student.  They also visited to Nehru Planetarium where they simulated night sky with  various  planets , stars, phases of moon, circumpolar sky on poles and many more features and concepts of basic astronomy.  They gain beautiful knowledge and  enjoyed  the tour. overall the tour was fruitful.  It has generated interest  among   them about the wonders of science and created awareness about the  various  applications of Mathematics in science and daily life.  Students at Nehru planetarium.(Feb 2015)...

Guest Lecture on "A New Proof of Morley's Theorem"        A guest lecture was organised by Department of Mathematics on 29th January 2015. Dr. Ganesh Kadu (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, SPPU, Pune) delivered a beautiful lecture on the topic " A new proof of Morley's Theorem". Around 94 students of F.Y/S.Y/T.Y.B.Sc.participated.The lecture was quite knowledgeable.It motivated the students for higher studies and research in Mathematics.The program was concluded with vote of thanks. A study Tour to  Science Park, Chinchwad, Pune. A study tour organized by the department of mathematics was held on 19th December  2013 to  Science Park,Chinchwad, Pune. The team of around 30 students of T.Y.B.Sc (Mathematics) and three   staff members visited the place.They enjoyed  simulated night sky with various  planets , stars, phases of moon, circumpolar sky on poles and many more features and concepts of basic astronomy.  They also visited various sections of the parks such as Dino park,Fun science,Climate change, energy park & amazing  3D show.They purchased many scientific toys  like mathematics puzzle, balloon  car etc for children, which can create awareness about mathematics & science.
